We develop innovative designs of commercial ultrasonic transducers for three basic frequencies:
3 kW — used mainly in stationary welding machines for welding thermoplastics and edge bending. They can be used in high capacity intermittent operation or medium capacity continuous operation.
4 kW — used in welding lines for welding thermoplastics or non-ferrous metals in continuous mode.
All transducer types can be installed in main (for stationary and manual welding machines) and rotary (for welding lines) positions.
For research and laboratory purposes, transducer designs have been developed and made for 40 kHz — 500 W, 50 kHz — 300 W, 60 kHz — 150 W and 75 kHz — 90 W.
Total transducer power decreases as their operating frequency increases, which restricts their industrial applications.
